Monitoring -
Inbound and outbound MMS has been restored as of 12:30 PM PT on 11/14/24. We’ll continue to monitor the service, but at this time it’s expected that picture messages, videos, group and long form text messages should be sent and received as normal

Identified -
Inbound and outbound MMS, including pictures, videos, group and long form texts, are currently disrupted without an ETA for resolution. This disruption is a result of ongoing offensive and racist messages being sent across networks and affects all of our users, independent of whether or not you received one of these messages. We will continue to work with these networks in an effort to resolve this matter and will update this status page when new details are available.

Investigating -
A wave of threatening post-election spam text messages are being sent throughout the country. Message traffic is being filtered based on this abusive content. Law enforcement and regulators are investigating this event as these messages violate our terms of service and in some cases, the law. In abundance of caution, network providers are also blocking MMS traffic at this time.
If you have received text messages that may be related to this wave of abuse, please report it using the link below and we will work with the proper authorities to assist with their investigation.
